A Clean Colon Is The Key To Good Health

We all know, or at least should know, that the quality of food that you put into your body can greatly affect every part of your health. Good nutrition will help to rebuild and regenerate the cells that make up your very being.

Your body’s ability to effectively eliminate waste matter without it becoming fermented or putrefied inside your body relies on good nutrition. Without this ability, constant fermentation of waste matter will make the possibility of vibrant health impossible.

Very few people realize that the inability to eliminate waste from the body causes so much putrefaction in the colon that it is responsible for a large percentage of disease and sickness. It is vital that our colon is functioning properly in order to avoid the build up of toxic poisons that result from our failure to rid the body of feces and debris. It is every bit as important as proper digestion and assimilation of food.

The consumption of overcooked, fried, processed foods, sugar and refined carbohydrates makes the likelihood of efficient colon function all but impossible, even if you are having two to three bowel movements per day.

These foods cause starvation of the colon. Healthy foods nourish the cells, muscles, nerves and tissues of the colon. A starved colon may still appear to allow fecal matter through, but it can’t extract, digest, and nourish the way it is supposed to.

The colon is your body’s sewer system, it is also a breeding ground for bacteria. There are friendly and non-friendly bacteria. Friendly bacteria will control and prevent toxicity from developing in the colon. Non-friendly bacteria will promote and produce disease.

In a clean and healthy colon, the friendly bacteria will control the non-friendly. However, in a colon where fermentation and putrefaction is present, the non-friendly bacteria will overpower the friendly and sickness will be the result.

If your colon is clogged with waste and debris, even the healthiest of diets won’t have the desired affect that you’re hoping for. Not only that, but the fermentation of waste matter will result in a build up of toxic gases in the colon that will bloat your tummy and all of the crunches and abdominal work in the world won’t flatten that out.

One of the most important ways to restore colon health is colon hydrotherapy. When administered by a highly trained professional, it is a tremendously effective therapy. Don’t think that one or two treatments are enough. Most people will require a series of treatments that should be repeated annually. Another hugely beneficial thing that you should do daily is fresh, live juicing.

That means investing in a high quality juicer and consuming at least one large glass of vegetable juice per day. But without a doubt, the most important thing that you can do is for your colon is never suppress the urge to eliminate.

I don’t care where you are or when it is, if your body tells you it’s time to go, then you go. If you constantly ignore your body’s signal to eliminate, you can in as little as three weeks program your nervous system to stop sending you that message.

I know it’s not a topic that we often discuss, but the results of ignoring the health of your colon can be devastating.
